I'm back, did you miss me?

Well this is the week before spring break, YEA!!  But I have about 50 test to take, 30 papers to write, and then on top of that work, meetings, class, and hw.  You know the usual stuff before you get to leave.  Actually I don't have that many test and papers to write.  But it is a lot though.  I am definantly feeling a little worried about all the stuff I have to do, but no matter what by 2pm Friday everything will be done(See I'm thinking positive).  But after 2pm I'm free, well sort of.  I have to start packing for my trip to MALTA!!  Sorry Glassmen buddies I won't be at camp this weekend.  I get to miss the first camp of drill and getting 50 lbs of music thrown at us.  Hopefully I will have confirmed after I send in this tape that I have a spot.  It would be really upset if I didn't get one or I'm considered an alternate.  But I'm sure I'll have a spot I tend to worry about stuff.

Well anyways I'm excited about Malta, and getting a break.  Well back to work, then some fun hw, and meetings.  Take it easy everybody, good luck with test, papers, etc. And have a great break since I probably won't write in this till after spring break.

Later dudes.

Well I finally writing something in here after about 2 months.  I guess I just haven't had time to write anything.  This semester has been crazy busy for me.  It is only a month into classes and I already feel stressed out.  Just so much stuff going on that it is driving me mad.  I am enjoying my classes, however I feel like I'm spreading myself out to thin with everything such as my fraturnity, music, classes, work, and Glassmen.

So speaking of Glassmen I had camp this weekend.  Not that good of a camp for me.  We had to reaudition and if you know anything about me I tend to get nervous when I have to play in front of people as a soloist.  Funny how I can play in front of thousands of people as a ensemble, but when I'm a soloist I freeze and that is what happened to me.  I could not play anything for my audition.  Because of my nervous it almost cost me a spot in the Glassmen hornline.  Luckly the guy I was playing for knows how I play and realized that it was just nervous.  So all I have to do is play the stuff for him and our little talk we had never happened, and I will be playing 2nd trumpet which is what he wants me to play.  I could ramble on about it longer and if you want to know more talk to me.

So besides that and all the other stuff stressing me out, I guess I'm doing ok.  These are all things that I shouldn't get frustrated about and I know things will turn out to be alright.

So the word of the day that would discribe my life up to this point since I last wrote you would be "Stress"

Things will get better; thank goodness for friends, family, the the Big Guy in the sky to help me and everyone else that I know is frustrated with stuff through these times.

I'll write more later

So here is my normal Friday evening xanga entry that is usually done at work.  First of all it is Friday which means I'm done with classes, not just for the week but for this semester(excluding finals). So I'm happy about that.  So last night was long, I was up till 4am finishing a paper that I thought was really cool and sounded good.  It dealt with my fraternity, and it was cool being able to discribe the feelings and ideals I get from it.  So I go to bed at 4am and the up at 7am which as I have previously stated many times I don't do well running on three hours of sleep.  So I'm hear at work feeling like I'm going to fall asleep.  But after work I plan on going back to my place and relax from the past couple weeks and maybe get to bed early.

So I also have my jury for trumpet tomorrow which I think I'm ready for which is good.  Then it is time to start studying for finals.  That is pretty much the rest of the week for me.  Though I do leave for Florida on Friday, which will be cool.  I have to go down for my step-sisters graduation.  So that should be fun.

Though because of this I will miss the next Glassmen camp which is a bummer since I had so much fun at last camp seeing all my friends and the intensity and thrill that comes from getting to play with that kind of an ensemble.  I'm SO SO pumped about this next summer getting to march.  I feel that it will be a different experience almost from when I marched in 03.  Maybe because I know what is going on.  So all I have to say is YEA G-MEN!!!!!!  If you can't tell I'm excited about drum corps and everyone should come see me this summer.

Well that pretty much sums up the past week and this coming week for you all who read my xanga.  Good luck with finals and have a great Christmas.

So I'll make this quick even though I haven't wrote in this for over a couple weeks.  This will probably be mostly about Thanksgiving break.

So over break I caught up on my sleep which was great.  I was able to see my family and friends which is always good.  Thanksgiving day was cool, I went to my grandma's house for turkey and other food.  Saw my family there and had fun lounging around and eating.  Friday I left for Toledo, OH.  Yep that's right I was heading for the Glassmen camp for that weekend.  If you didn't know already I'm going to march Glassmen this year, which is my age out year.  So driving there I was a little nervous because I get that way for auditions and stuff.  But once I got there the first person I saw was Brian Hickman, the corps executive director.  He said he was excited to see me and was glad that I was back.  Then I saw a lot of my friends that I marched with in 03 which was awesome.  After seeing everyone it easied my nerves a ton.  So about the camp, it went very well.  Music was cool and worked on marching for about 4 hours on Saturday.  At the end of the camp I was told that I'm pretty much in the corps and my audition I was nervous for went well.  I was told that I did a very good job.  So basicly I'm marching my Glassmen 05' for my age out year which will be cool.

YEAH GLASSMEN!!!

So all this week we are getting ready for the Christmas Concert which kind of stinks because it takes up a lot of time, and the band I'm in is not playing a lot of music.  So during the rehearsels we sit around a lot which is not fun.  So this weekend will be filled with concerts.

Well I talked a lot longer then what I thought I would.  Sorry talking about the Glassmen got me excited and I couldn't stop talking about it.  Well good luck  to everyone with the end of the semester.  Later dudes.

YEA for Fridays, and YEA for Fridays before break.  So today all I have is two more classes and then it will be Thanksgiving Break.  So these past two weeks have been a little crazy and I'm glad that I'm finally getting a break.  For example last night was kind of a long night, I managed to stay up till around 5am finishing a research paper, only to get up to go to work at 7am.  Yeah 7am came pretty quick, and if you know anything about me lack of sleep is not a good thing for me.  So it probably will be pretty interesting for everyone around me seeing me try functioning today.

So about Thanksgiving break, I'm happy for it.  Get to go home, go to a Purdue game and sit in the student section (though I'm not a Purdue student, shh don't tell anybody).  Then going to sleep, and do stuff not school related.  Practice my trumpet because I need it and for my auditions for GLASSMEN!! I'm excited about that.  Then eat some good food that isn't from a cafeteria.  Then off to Toledo for the GLASSMEN CAMP!!!!  So that is a rough idea of my break for all of you.

Also I have to kind of brag about this, even though I try not to brag about stuff.  So the basic idea is that I enjoy philosophy, weird as it may seem.  We just got our take home writing exams back yesterday, I got an A- on it(Insert smiley here) so from the past two writing exams I have got an A and an A-.  I have hardly ever get A's on paper let alone test.  And I just don't like the class because i'm getting good grades in it, it is actually a class I enjoy and is very mentally stimulating, if you get that.  Well i'm going to go back to work, like usually i probably won't write anything in here for a couple weeks.  Take care have a great Thanksgiving break to all.  Later dudes
